My acounting journey began as an accounting clerk at a small firm in Waikoloa while I was finishing college. I later earned my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2012. I built my career across accounting and hospitality, where I discovered a strong passion for customer service.

When the COVID-19 pandemic created uncertainty in the hospitality industry, and after welcoming my fourth child, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business to create better balance for my family and meaningful service for clients.

I founded Ho'okipa Financial Connections, LLC to combine accounting with the spirit of hospitality. In Hawaiian, "ho'okipa" means treating others as you would like to be treated - a value that guides how I support my clients. I take time to understand each client's needs and aim to make accounting less stressful and more empowering.

Now based on O'ahu, I am growing my business while pursuing my MBA with certificates in Business Analytics, Nonprofit Management and Construction Management to better serve my clients and community.
